Chandler takes two second places in CEV Repsol Catalunya round
Chandler Cooper enjoyed a pretty successful weekend in the Superstock class at the Catalunya round of FIM CEV Repsol at Barcelona’s Montmelo circuit.
He did a good number of laps across the four days, suffering some bike issues on the Friday. The Thursday sessions had been particularly strong with constantly improving times – down to a 1:48.8 and fastest in all sectors.
In the races on Sunday Chandler had to settle for two second positions, narrowly missing out on a win in the second race due to sudden yellow flags denying him an anticipated last lap passing opportunity.
They’re good result nonetheless, and now mean the young Australian in now third in the overall championship standings – and with notice starting to be taken of his constantly improving performances.
Chandler would particularly like to thank the team and also sponsors Bali Scuba.
